Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. If you prefer you can contact us by 'phone to place an order or request an order form for you to complete and return to us. We accept credit card payments and payment via PayPal. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Delta and Electron . You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. You can also pay by cheque, which will need to be cleared before we despatch your items. Please make cheque out to Metro Eyewear.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. We are committed to constantly improving our products and from time to time we will change the specification of our products. Any orders received in response to a promotional offer, a second confirmation e-mail will be sent showing the amount payable after discounts. You may cancel the order by 'phone on 01638 552404 or by email: info@metroeyewear.com at any time prior to despatch (excepting prescription orders where we have already made the lenses to your prescription). If you wish to cancel your order after the products have been despatched, you will have to return them to us postage paid. We will credit your account once the product(s) has been received by us and has been checked. Please note we can only make refunds to the card that was used to place the original order. You may return the goods to us for a full refund within 14 days of you receiving the goods if they are not to your satisfaction and you will have to return them to us postage paid. The item must be returned complete with all its original packaging/lens stickers, etc. If an item is faulty we will either replace or refund the cost of the item plus the return postage to us.

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 10% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.

PRESCRIPTION ORDERS

Your prescription must not be more than 2 years old. By law we are unable to accept orders for prescription glasses if you are under 16. The majority of prices on this website are based on single vision lenses, up to +/-6 sph and 4.00 cyl. Distance or reading, However, this may vary according to the brand/style of prescription glass. Please contact us for details if your prescription is outside the range or if you require information on varifocals.

PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN ENTERING YOUR PRESCRIPTION DETAILS, INCLUDING ALL THE + OR - SIGNS AND ANY MEASUREMENTS, AS WE CANNOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE INCORRECT ENTERING OF THE DETAILS AT THE TIME YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER.

Prescription lenses that have been correctly made to your prescription cannot be refunded unless there is a manufacturing defect. We do not re-glaze customers own prescription frames unless the frame was supplied by us originally. We also cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to the frame whilst being re-glazed. A full refund for the goods (excepting prescription lenses which have been made to the prescription provided to us) will be given provided they are returned within 14 days and are complete with their original tags and labels and you will have to return them to us postage paid. The item must be returned complete with all its original packaging/lens stickers, etc. If an item is faulty we will either replace or refund the cost of the item plus the return postage to us. We recommend you obtain a free Certificate of Posting from your local Post Office.
